InnovaTec^®: Patented meltblown layers for reliable filtration

The wide range of applications for our products is particularly evident in our InnovaTec^® solution. As a basis for battery separators, this meltblown is able to separate cathode and anode in accumulator cells and primary elements spatially and electrically safely and reliably, while at the same time allowing ions to pass through.

In synthetic textiles for the production of disposable protective clothing, it ensures that no aggressive liquids, dust or microorganisms penetrate.

A meltblown for all occasions

The versatile meltblown is also used in roof underlayments. Here, the meltblown layer is used as a liquid reservoir to control water vapour permeability, water storage and dirt or dust filtration in the event of excessive room humidity.

In addition, for certain applications, the film can be replaced by a meltblown layer.
