  3. Data processing purposes & legal basis
    We process your application data for the purpose of assessing your suitability and ability for the job you are applying for. In the application process, we will use all the information you provide to progress your application and to check whether we can offer you a job with us. The data we process in the process will depend on what data you provide to us. We will only use your contact details to inform you about the progress of the application process. We will only use other information contained in the application documents to determine your suitability for the vacant position. The legal basis is Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter b in conjunction with Article 88 GDPR, § 26 BDSG. If your application documents contain special categories of personal data, e.g. information on health or ethnic origin, we also base our processing on Article 9(2)(b) GDPR, § 26(3) sentence 1 BDSG.
    Access to your application data is granted to the relevant HR managers at our company and to our technical IT administration.
  4. Retention
    Your application data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the event that an employment relationship, training relationship, internship or similar is established following the application process, the data will initially continue to be stored and transferred to the personnel file. Otherwise, the application procedure ends for you with the receipt of a rejection. In the event of a rejection, we will store your data for six months as soon as you have received the rejection decision, unless longer storage is necessary for the defence of legal claims.
  5. Application Pool
    If you wish, we can include you in a subsequent selection procedure after your application has been rejected. We need your consent to include you in our application pool (Article 6(1) sentence 1 letter a GDPR). Your consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time.
  6. Your Rights

    In accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR, you have the right to request information about your personal data that we process.
    If inaccurate personal data are processed, you have the right to rectification in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR.
    If the legal requirements are met, you have the right to erasure or restriction of the processing of the data concerned (Article 17 and Article 18 GDPR).
    Under the conditions of Article 20, you have a right to data portability.
    You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal.
